Helen
ParticipantHi All,
I’m getting an error on the monthly view of the events calendar where on the first time any user clicks the next month it fails. Here’s what happens in the console:
jquery.js?ver=1.12.3:4 POST http://SITENAME/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php 500 (Internal Server Error)send @ jquery.js?ver=1.12.3:4ajax @ jquery.js?ver=1.12.3:4n.(anonymous function) @ jquery.js?ver=1.12.3:4v @ tribe-events-ajax-calendar.min.js?ver=4.2:1(anonymous function) @ tribe-events-ajax-calendar.min.js?ver=4.2:1pre_ajax @ tribe-events-pro.min.js?ver=4.2:1(anonymous function) @ tribe-events-ajax-calendar.min.js?ver=4.2:1dispatch @ jquery.js?ver=1.12.3:3r.handle @ jquery.js?ver=1.12.3:3
The problem is not happening on my development server that has the same plugins/themes etcetera and I cannot revert to the base themes at this time on the live site.
If you paste the dates in manually (e.g. SITENAME/events/2016-07/, SITENAME/events/2016-08/) it works, and then you are able to advance to the following month using the AJAX handler…
Any help is appreciated!

ModeratorHello Helen,
Thank you for posting and sorry to see you back here under such circumstances. I know it’s a live site, but are you able to temporarily set ‘wp_debug’ to ‘true’ on your wp-config.php file and see if any errors display at the top of the page? If you see any, please screenshot it and send it to me.
If you wouldn’t mind, can you also send over your System Information as a private reply?
Thank you again and have a wonderful rest of your day.
Cheers!June 21, 2016 at 5:18 am #1129732Helen

ModeratorHi Helen,
I understand it’s a tedious procedure, but that is unfortunately the first step in identifying the source of conflict. I understand you have a development server that isn’t giving the same issues, but there is always the chance for something different between the two that could potentially be the cause.
I wish I had another alternative for you but I can’t think of anything else at this time. Keep me posted with your findings and thank you for your understanding on the matter.

ModeratorWelcome back,
Thanks for providing that info 🙂
Unfortunately the first step here is going to require running through the Testing for conflicts guide. We aren’t typically able to troubleshoot server problems for customers per forum rules. I wish I had a better answer but we can’t investigate until that has been done.
One last idea I can think of would be you’re dealing with a caching conflict from WP Super Cache (if it’s not your theme causing the conflict). These two articles might help:
With that said, I’ll close the thread out and if/when you’re ready to troubleshoot this more thoroughly, feel free to open a new thread and we’d be happy to help. Take care and enjoy you weekend.
Cheers!
