ParticipantHi,
I am missing the top menu from my theme on /events. I have put in a temporary solution of another menu in the sidebar but not really what I want.

Any ideas? I am using Divi with a child theme. Is it possible to add a header image to the /events ? Only way I have found it with a shortcode like this

However the wedding event it is show was put in incorrectly so I bin it and have now permenantly deleted it but it is still showing in this view but not in the normal /events viewSeptember 1, 2016 at 10:15 am #1158914Hunter
ModeratorHey John,
Sorry to hear about the troubles! I am fairly limited on the amount of support I can provide here due to the issue(s) relating to theme customizations. If you haven’t reviewed our Themer’s Guide, it does an excellent job of explaining how to go about creating and saving custom templates.
You might also want to visit Events > Settings > Display and try different options found there. Let me know if anything I’ve said helps get you started in the right direction and have a great afternoon. Cheers!

ParticipantHi Hunter,
I have looked at the theme guide and also the videos on it. However I am now getting what would seem to be a strange error.
On the main view it is now correct, however on an individual event the menu is gone again. I cannot see anything in the styling about having something different for the calendar view and the event content unless you manually overvide it, which I haven’t.
Any ideas?

ModeratorHey John,
Without accessing the back end of your site (which we’re unfortunately unable to do), I wouldn’t really know where the issue is coming from. Between the Themer’s Guide and Testing for conflicts guide, those two articles should help steer you in the right direction. Per Forum Rules, we’re unable to support theme and/or plugin conflicts.
If it gets beyond your level of expertise, we’ve got a list of customizers that can help resolve the missing menu issue. I wish I could do more here and thanks for understanding. Best of luck and have a good rest of your week. Cheers!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
