ParticipantHi,
The google search console shows an error in the events Calendar entries :
missing field : author
for example : http://www.france-portugal.com/evenement/carminho-concert-6-avril-2017/
What is wrong in my configuration ?
Thanks and sorry about my englishFebruary 28, 2017 at 9:16 pm #1247397Cliff
MemberHi, Paulo.
I put that URL into Google’s testing tool and saw some messages but nothing regarding “author”.
I looked at the page source for a non-event page on your site (http://www.france-portugal.com/evenement/tony-carreira-concert-a-paris/) and didn’t find any “author” there either, other than for the comment form (same as that Event link you shared).
I’m not certain this is something we’d be able to help you with.
If you find out more information for us to go off of, please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

ParticipantHi,

MemberI tested that link as well, here.
I re-checked the first link too. For both links, there is an error that there’s no location.
I was not able to recreate the issue when comparing to a random event from our demo site:
- Event: http://wpshindig.com/event/js-study-group-algorithms/2017-03-06/
- Testing: https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/u/0/#url=http%3A%2F%2Fwpshindig.com%2Fevent%2Fjs-study-group-algorithms%2F2017-03-06%2F
Because we cannot replicate the issue and because you have some custom templating in place, we cannot assist with debugging this as-is, but I can offer some recommended troubleshooting steps:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.
