Matt
ParticipantI upgraded to pro in February, now I am getting a message in my wordpress dashboard saying the following’
The following plugins are out of date: Events Calendar PRO 4.0.5. All add-ons contain dependencies on The Events Calendar and will not function properly unless paired with the right version. Learn More.
What is this about? I go to update my plugin and it says it is current.

MemberHey Matt and sorry for the trouble here!
Would you be willing to head to Events > Settings > Display, copy the system information at the bottom of the screen and paste it here for me as private reply? That will help me check a few things out to see where the trouble might be coming from.
In the meantime, it might be worth manually re-installing the plugins with the latest versions (4.1.1). We had an issue in one of our recent updates where the plugin directory was being renamed by mistake and I wonder if that may be the case for you as well.
Thanks so much!

MemberThanks, Matt. There should be a “Help” tab at the top of that screen (screenshot).
At the very least, are you able to go to your Plugins screen and see what versions of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO are running?
And, were you able to manually re-install the plugins? What was the result of that?
Thanks!

ParticipantI’m having the same issue. Both The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar Pro are Version 4.1.1 but I’m still getting the same error.
“The following plugins are out of date: Events Calendar PRO 3.11.1. All add-ons contain dependencies on The Events Calendar and will not function properly unless paired with the right version. Learn More.”
How can I get rid of this message? Re-installing the plugin isn’t really an option. The events calendar is on a live website.

MemberHi Matt, thanks for the info! That helps a lot.
A manual re-install will be needed here. I know you mentioned being worried about doing that, but you will lose no data in the process. I do encourage you to backup your database and files as you would for any WordPress or plugin update, but more for best practice than any thread of losing anything.
Will you please following the steps here and let me know if you continue to see the notification? We can take a look at the blank page issue as well, but want to focus on making sure the plugins are properly updated before we switch gears.
Thanks!

MemberSweet! Will you please try switching the default template (Events > Settings > Display) to one of your page templates and see if that does the trick?
Also, do you have another page on your site that uses the “events” slug or contains “events” in the slug?
Thanks!

MemberAwesome, thanks Matt! Super glad to hear that did the trick. I’ll go ahead and close this thread but please do let us know if there’s anything we can do to help with the text color in another thread and we ‘d be happy to check it out with you to see what we can do. 🙂
Cheers,
