ParticipantI have the same issue as of this week with maps not showing…
API key create this morning to address an issue that all sites (post june 22nd) need individual API keys and now that is not working at all with a new API key entered…
Error in js console = RefererNotAllowedMapError
the api key is setup to allow : *.dutchcountryauctions.com/*
and the referer url in the js console is: https://dutchcountryauctions.com/event/bid-board-3/
All of this stuff seems to be related to some change google made on June 22 and seems to only affect sites that have changed domains after that point.
IE everything worked fine on a test domain created before June 22nd, site goes live with new live domain after June22nd and there are all sorts of problems.

You are absolutely right, Google has tightened it’s security rules around wildcard API keys.
As you might guess, we have very little control on what Google decides. As a temporary solution, I would suggest trying to remove the API key altogether temporarily to see if that displays the maps.
