I downloaded 3 apps for scanning qr code, logged in as admin and when I scan QR code nothing happens!! It just navigates to the post where I sell the tickets, which is a wordpress page. Please help!
January 17, 2017 at 11:41 pm #1220115GeorgeParticipantSorry to hear this, @aya!
One thing that stands out to me is that your site’s WordPress version is listed as version 3.6.3.1 — this is a very, very outdated version of WordPress and our plugins require at least 4.5.x
The current version of WordPress is 4.7.1. Please update your site’s version of WordPress to this version, then let us know if anything improves with the behavior of these issues.
If you upgrade, but issues persist, then in your reply please post your site’s complete, un-edited system information to this thread. Here is how to do that → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
THanks,

4.4January 18, 2017 at 1:15 pm #1220466david bergeronParticipantI have the same issue on the latest version of WordPress with nothing but the bare minimum plugins installed.
January 18, 2017 at 1:20 pm #1220473GeorgeParticipantSorry to hear this, David!
1. When you say that this happens when you’re “Logged in as admin”, can you confirm what type of admin user you’re logged in as? Are you logged in as an “Administrator”-level user? And “Editor”-level user? A “Subscriber”-level user?
Let me know!
2. Next, your system information does not show what your site’s Permalinks settings are. Can you verify what they are set to? Are they set to /%postname%/, for example?
Thank you for your patience here!
GeorgeJanuary 18, 2017 at 1:32 pm #1220482ayaParticipantStill not working for me 🙁
January 19, 2017 at 6:19 pm #1221250GeorgeParticipantI’m sorry to hear that, @aya! I have two questions for you that should help us a lot. Please answer both of them:

January 24, 2017 at 8:48 pm #1223346GeorgeParticipantThanks for confirming!
I’m not able to reproduce these problems and we have no other reports of this issue, so there may be a theme or plugin conflict on your site.
To help see if that’s the case, I would recommend doing the complete set of troubleshooting steps on this page → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/ After EACH STEP in that process, go back to a test event and try doing a QR code check-in.
Do the QR Code check-ins improve anywhere along the way in this testing process?
Thanks!
GeorgeFebruary 15, 2017 at 8:35 am #1235504Support DroidKeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
