Is it possible to charge for event creation via community events plugin?

I’m launching a website for an events space. We’d like to use The Events Calendar Community Events plug-in to allow user-generated events at the location for a fee. Does the plug-in have the functionality to require payment from the person creating an event using the front-end platform?

Hey there and thanks for reaching out!

It is possible to allow those who submit events to create tickets for their events and for you to take a cut of those sales if you use Community Events with Community Tickets.

Charging for event submissions, however, is something that Community Events does not do right out of the box. I have heard of others using Community Events and Restrict Content Pro together to create a paywall between visitors and posting events, so that might be worth checking out. 🙂
