I downloaded and purchased the events calendar and events calendar pro. I was able to install these plugins to my WordPress site by uploading the zip files. I also installed the “event tickets” zip, however I am unable to install the “interactive maps” zip folder plugin that comes with it.

The error message says, “destination folder already exists.””Plugin installation failed.”

Does this mean it is already automatically installed with the installation of events calendar pro plugin?

    Hello,

I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you get it figured out.

First, can you please clarify what you mean by the “interactive maps” zip? If you are getting the “destination folder already exists. Plugin installation failed.” message for The Events Calendar, then you may need to remove the pluginsĀ via FTP and add the current versions (4.6.12 for The Events Calendar and 4.4.24.1 for Events Calendar Pro).

Can you please share your system information with me as well? (If you do not see an “Events” tab in your Dashboard menu, then you will not be able to copy/paste this info as outlined in the instructions.)

    Thanks,

    Jennifer
