I updated and have to revert back to previous versions – the licensing kept attaching and detaching. Site go very slow. TEC took a lot of resources. Seeing lots of similar issues in forums – it there a patch or new release pending?

I’m on panteon server – any way to add my https://dev-palmspringslife.pantheonsite.io, https://test-palmspringslife.pantheonsite.io, https://live-palmspringslife.pantheonsite.io domains in to license? They are constantly needed me to add them back in – I have agency license – but these do not hold in licensing – only server app intance URLS IE: appserver-4d964022.c.pantheon-dmz.internal

    Thanks- Todd

Hi, Todd. Sorry you’ve had these frustrations.

Please reference https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-one-license-live-dev-sites/ if you’re having to re-input your license keys.

If that’s not your issue–maybe something specific to Pantheon or your individual workflow that I’m not in-the-know about–please enlighten me.

    Thank you.

Thanks Cliff… no that doesn’t help – other than to tell me I have to renew licenses on the dev, test and live sites to push updates – and YOU also did not address if there’s a patch coming to address the issues with the last release.

On Pantheon the urls for the site are not being picked up by your licensing – https://dev-palmspringslife.pantheonsite.io, https://test-palmspringslife.pantheonsite.io, https://live-palmspringslife.pantheonsite.io – only the palmspringslife.com URL

Instead, it’s seeing the multiple APP instances of the site which are not valid URLS. appserver-dd33195b.c.pantheon-dmz.internal, appserver-1cb39b23.c.pantheon-dmz.internal, appserver-4d964022.c.pantheon-dmz.internal

    Thanks- Todd

I see you already have 10 sites registered (max for the Agency license) so maybe that’s why these other URLs aren’t registering.

You can visit https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/ to see all the sites registered to each of your licenses.

You can deregister sites there and also see how many open slots you have.

Sorry for not addressing your question about performance concerns. In our forums we keep our threads focused on just one issue at a time to ensure we fully answer each of your questions/issues. Please keep this in mind for the future and start a new thread for your performance issue if it’s still happening after resolving the licenses issue. Thanks for your understanding.

I have to go in and delete all the appserver-*******.pantheon-dmz.internal to get licenses for the dev/test/live server to update- I’ll chalk it up to that your licensing is not compatible with Pantheon / WP applications.

This issue was not a result of the slowness or issues I had with the update. I’m watching the forums for mention of a fix for that release – can’t use as is. Having all the issues others are reporting. Hope a fix comes soon.

    Thanks – Todd

Todd, sorry for the frustrations here.

Regarding the performance issues you’ve been experiencing, does it get solved by deactivating PRO?

If yes, it might be an issue with recurring events, in which case this extension may come in handy: https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/recurring-event-cleanup-tool/

Cliff – I am still on TEC Version 4.6.2, TEC PRO 4.4.18, TEC Community 4.5.6 and Filter Bar 4.5.1

I had to revert the site back – the current version of PRO pegs the site to a crawl – part of what I saw was a constant change between the license validity – where it kept flipping back and forth as to whether the license was valid. Thus why I asked about the licensing issues on Pantheon. Todd

    So if you…

… remove your PRO license key from wp-admin > Events > Settings > Licenses

… then automatically update all but PRO

    … then manually update PRO

… then run everything while PRO’s license is not entered in Settings

… do things still run slowly?

Still no luck with this – the Pro License will not attach to my domain – I uninstalled and manually updated. Filter Bar and Community does hold license to palmspringslife.com but not pro license. ??? When this happens cal run real slow and takes 8/10 secs to load events – I add license in , it’s there for a few minutes and gone again.

Performing the updates manually shouldn’t have anything to do with activating your license. The plugins work 100% without a license; it’s just that they don’t receive automatic updates.

Did you manually update (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/manual-updates/) all your paid Modern Tribe plugins?

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
