    Hello
I have had some time to review the comments/suggestions today. I feel like you have the base software but then lots of programming changes or add ons are needed – which i find very messy…

Being able to email – and customise the message types – to all registered users is a very important issue for me and at present it seems this is not possible with your software.

Also date and time of registration is not present in my orders export…..

    also re my question
The other question I have is say I want to add events for different subjects A (4 events) B (2 events) and C (2 events)
How can i display each ticket for these on 1 page under
    Subject A in table form
    listing 4 events
    Subject B in table form
    listing 2 events
    Subject C in table form
    listing 2 events
I am still not sure how this can be achieved – i checked the link you supplied but couldn’t find anything – can you be more specific please? is there another plug in i need to install to achieve this – and i want to display all events for all dates in a single table on a single page – not just for 1 date

just feeling like your software is a bit young for what i want to do – anyway please let me know re the above
    thanks
    Sue

    Good evening Sue,

    Thank you for writing back.

I feel like you have the base software but then lots of programming changes or add ons are needed – which i find very messy… Being able to email – and customise the message types – to all registered users is a very important issue for me and at present it seems this is not possible with your software.

I totally understand where you are coming from.

As you can imagine, there are a great number of features we are excited to work on to enhance our products. That being said, we are also fully aware that there is quite a road ahead to be able to implement all of our customers’ great ideas for new features and enhancements.

This is actually why we decided to keep our plugins customizable and expandable by design.

That way, people do not have to wait to tweak it to their exact needs.

You are right. It is a bit more involved, but we do believe it is the best approach to give people the flexibility they need.

Also date and time of registration is not present in my orders export…..

That is a good point, the date and time is not present in the attendee report export, but the date is visible in the sales reports.

Here again, you could extend the report to your liking. Here is an extension that adds the phone number to that report: https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/include-attendee-phone-number-in-the-event-attendee-report/

But I will totally relay this suggestion along because I am pretty sure a lot of people would love that.

The other question I have is say I want to add events for different subjects A (4 events) B (2 events) and C (2 events)
How can i display each ticket for these on 1 page… I am still not sure how this can be achieved. i checked the link you supplied but couldn’t find anything – can you be more specific please?

There are at least a couple of ways this can be achieved.

But I am afraid this will fall into the same category of what you are not a fan of: using the building blocks of our plugins and tweaking them / combining them in a way that works for you (as opposed to a built-in option).

So to be more specific, you could:

    1. Use a normal page and use our the Events Calendar Pro widgets shortcodes https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/ for the Advanced List Widget.

Each type of event should match an event category (which you can add as parameter sin your shortcode).

From there, you could use Themer’s guide to tweak the widget view and only display tickets

    2. Using a normal page and the Events Calendar Pro you could embed the URLs of each of these events (Oembed).

From there, you could use Themer’s guide to tweak the single event view and only display the tickets (if you are not planning on using the normal single event view anyway)

    3. Using a normal calendar page and a page builder, you could simply embed the different WooCommerce products attached to tickets in the format you like.

However, you will need some customization to get Event Tickets Plus functionalities (like attendee info) to display to.

just feeling like your software is a bit young for what i want to do – anyway please let me know re the above

I agree that at this point, unless you are willing to undergo the customization route our plugins do not seem to be a match for your specific needs.

I would still like to invite you to keep an eye out because we do roll out a substantial number of new features every year. Who knows, perhaps in time this will become your preferred solution ?

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.
