According to Facebook’s new privacy policy, we should still be able to import events we have marked we are interested in from our personal Facebook calendards using an ical feed. I have an ical feed set up like this that used to work, but this also has recently stopped working. Is this also due to the API update?

Are you going to fix the aggregator to at least allow ical feeds from personal Facebook calendars?

    Thank you.

    Hi Carolyn

Thanks so much for reaching out! I do believe the ical connection is part of Facebook’s update.

We are currently figuring things out as they continue to evolve with the Facebook Privacy Policy. For now, the best places to check in on the status of our plugin’s access to Facebook are https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/ea-fb-privacy-policy/ and https://theeventscalendar.com/event-aggregator-status/

If your scheduled imports are still working, then you would need an Event Aggregator license to continue to keep those scheduled imports.

If you are still interested in a refund, you can fill out the refund form https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/.

Please let me know if you have any other questions! Thanks
    Courtney 🙂

If you can get imports for events I am interested in working again — which is consistent with Facebook’s policy — then I will stick with you.

    Hi Carolyn

    This is still accurate: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/ea-fb-privacy-policy/

So you can import events that you created on Facebook, if you connect Facebook and EA using that same account. In most other cases, imports won’t work.

    Thanks
    Courtney 🙂

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics.
