ParticipantAll events up to August 13th are off by 1 hour. For example, all 4PM-5PM meetings show up as “5PM to 6PM”
All events after August 13th are correct. A 4-5pm meeting shows up as “4PM to 5PM”.
Latest WordPress, latest Events Calendar, Events Calendar Pro, and iCal importer. Paid through 2017.
Timezone is set in WordPress. “CDT”/Chicago time zone is used site-wide. All the calendar entries say Central Time / CDT.
It doesn’t matter if I set the correct time on entries up to August 13th. As soon as the iCal sync kicks in, all the times are reset back to +1 hour – and gain, only the entries before August 13th.

ModeratorHey Nicholas,
Sorry to hear about the time discrepancies. Can you try setting your WordPress timezone settings to ‘UTC-5’ rather than ‘CDT/Chicago’ and see if the issue still occurs? Please review and test as recommended in our Testing for conflicts guide just to make sure we rule out a theme and/or plugin conflict. Please include your System Information as a private reply for good measure.
Thank for using our iCal Importer and PRO for your events calendar needs and have a great upcoming weekend.

ModeratorWelcome back,
Thank you for being so thorough in your testing and communication 🙂
Would you mind sharing the iCal URL you’re having troubles with and I’ll test to see if I can replicate the issue? You can send it over as a private reply if you’d like. Thanks again and have a great rest of your Sunday!

ModeratorHi and welcome back,
I grabbed the iCal URL provided and imported the two test events you created. Prior to importing, I updated my WordPress timezone setting to ‘Chicago’. The events were imported successfully with the correct times (see screenshot below), so I’m at a bit of a loss as to why they’re not importing correctly for you.

Are you able to set up a test environment on your local machine to test the issue more in-depth? I hate to ask this, but seeing I’m unable to reproduce the problem, it doesn’t appear to be a legitimate bug in our code. Let me know if that’s an option and we’ll go from there. Have a great rest of your Monday.
Cheers!
