I have two types of classes, one where I sell tickets, and one RSVP.

Regarding the the class that only requires a RSVP, I have someone testing the page for me and they get a HTTP ERROR 500 when they confirm the RSVP. It works when I’m logged in, but not as an logged out user.

    Here’s the URL: http://437.10f.myftpupload.com/events/category/program-introduction/

Can you please try it for me and let me know what you think might be the problem.

I do need anonymous testers, so I need to find a solution.

    Please advise.

    Regards,
    Ross

    Hi Ross,

    Thanks for the follow-up.

Regarding your first question, you have deleted the WooCommerce products directly? Or you used the Tickets editor within the Event add/edit screen?

With regards to your second question, would you please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share with us any messages you see while you get the 500 error? All WP_DEBUG messages will be stored in a debug.log file in /wp-content or in the error_log file.

    Thank you,

    Juan.

    Hi Ross,

With regards to the capacity, what happens if you update it manually? Ideally, the tickets won’t be deleted, right?

    Best,

    Juan.

I used tickets editor within the Event add/edit screen. I’ve attached a screen capture of my products page.

    Where do I enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG?

I enabled both WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG. I don’t see a debug.log file in /wp-content or in the error_log. but the following output appeared on the screen when the “HTTP ERROR 500” error occured.

Fatal error: Call to undefined method APCu_Object_Cache::incr2() in /home/content/a2pewpnaspod05_data03/40/41327040/html/wp-content/object-cache.php on line 240

Since I don’t see a debug.log file in /wp-content or an error_log file, I’m assuming I didn’t enable debug mode correctly. Check out what I did – screen capture shows where I edited wp-config.php

    I do now see a debug.log file.
    Here are its contents:

    Hi Ross,

    Thank you for the follow-up.

Are you on Godaddy? They have assumed they have some issues on a few of the GoDaddy’s hosting servers, and they propose the following fix:

“Open your hosting account, go to File manager and access this folder: wp-content Rename this file object-cache.php to object-cache-OLD.php

Hi Juan, yes, we are on GoDaddy. The fix worked, and I am now able to RSVP and I now receive my email comfirmation response. This is great news – Juan, thx for the great support. BTY, the link to the Godaddy article you sent is in a foreign language (where are you located?).

    1. Regarding my RSVP classes, what is the workflow for decreasing a RSVP? Say, I decided that I will not attend. I was expecting that, as the class administrator, I could simply delete the RSVP, and then capacity would reset, but this doesn’t seem to be the case, so what is the workflow? You mentioned manually resetting (for RSVP) but you can’t change the value.

    2. Regarding my ticketed classes, something has broken (BTW, it was working the other day) with regards to setting capacity. I’ve attached 4 screenshots showing 3 ticket creation screens and the final list. As you can see each ticket was set at 38 capacity, but the listing shows unlimited capacity as does the live view. Here is the URL to my class listing: Here’s the URL: http://437.10f.myftpupload.com/events/category/program-introduction/

    Hi Ross,

    Thank you for the follow-up.

I’m sorry, it defaulted to dutch, please check this link: https://godaddy.com/community/Building-and-Managing-a-Website/fatal-error/td-p/31814

    Regarding your questions:

    1. Ideally, you can go to the Event > Attendees, and when you delete the RSVP from that screen, the capacity number should respond to the number of RSVP you have. If you do that, then the capacity doesn’t change? You can learn all about RSVPs by following this link.
    2. If I go to the link you’ve shared with me (http://437.10f.myftpupload.com/events/category/program-introduction/) I can see that the capacity for all events is set to 38. Do you still see the “unlimited” capacity in the backend?

    Thanks,

    Juan.

I see unlimited on both the backend (I already sent an image) and the frontend (when collapsed it shows 38) when expanded is shows unlimited. Attached is screenshot of the front end. This was working great then yesterday it broke. The link I sent was incorrect, it’s the adoption classes that show unlimited.

    Here’s the correct URL: http://437.10f.myftpupload.com/events/category/adoption-classes/

    Hi Ross,

    Thank you for the follow-up.

I’ve been reviewing your screenshots and checking your site and I’m being unable to reproduce your issue in my local development environment.

Would you please try erasing those tickets (I understand that’s a staging site, right?) and try creating them again to see if that works?

    Thanks,

    Juan,

Hi Juan, I’ve done that at least three times. What about deactivating plug-ins, etc. I was hoping that you had an answer I’ve got to get this thing to work we’re very close but it’s not going to be approve the way it’s currently working so I appreciate your effort but we will continue trying to get this thing to work.

    Hi Ross,

Thank you for the follow-up. I’m sorry to hear that, I’m trying to help you, by asking questions in order to have more context and suggesting things that will work in most cases. We already solved all of the other issues you had.

Would you like to send me a DB dump so I can recreate your configuration the same way you have it?

    Best,

    Juan.
