Hundreds of event listings – can these be shown as one-liners?

Hi,
I’m looking to set up a new site but rather than have our web dev peeps start from scratch, the Events Calendar could be a good starting point for us. One slight area we would need to work around – and I guess it could well be possible within the scope of the template…so here goes.

Our site that will list around 20-30 events per day that could appeal to the user. So that the user can see these all at a glance, is it possible to have the home page listing these all as simple one-liners rather than with full details? ie
Date, list of options available and each with a short description and location. Obviously this can click though to more detail.

Thanks for your interest in our plugin(s).

At this time, our main views are either the custom post type’s archive views (Month, List, Photo, Map, etc) or you could use one of our plugin’s widgets or shortcodes. In other words, we do not natively enable displaying it on your site’s home page.

For example, [tribe_events_list limit=”20″]

You might also want to create your own shortcode or widget (based on our code) to create your own custom display and be able to put it wherever you choose. For example, you could limit it to just today’s events and have no limit.
