How do I show all the events from a venue?
October 2, 2018 at 7:13 am #1635351LeonardParticipantI find out how but it was hard to find. It was actually located in shortcodes page under this code.
[tribe_featured_venue slug=”noto” hide_if_empty=false]
I might in the minority but think this feature should be easier to find.
Anyway great plugin!October 3, 2018 at 7:41 pm #1636951CliffMemberHi, Leonard. Sorry things weren’t clear here.
Yes, you can do it that way (from https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/#featured-venue-shortcode), but each Venue and each Organizer actually have their own single pages. You can get to them from their wp-admin edit screen or you can get to them from each Single Event page.
For example:
- Single Event page: https://wpshindig.com/event/codeforcuritiba-hack-night/2018-10-17/
- its venue meta box links to the Single Venue page: https://wpshindig.com/venue/centro-internacional-de-inovacao-c2i-da-fiep/
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

October 10, 2018 at 10:23 am #1641067CliffMemberHi, Leonard. I visited that page and saw a console message linking to https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#no-api-keys
(If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)Please go to wp-admin > Events > Settings > APIs tab > and enter your Google Maps API Key (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-your-google-maps-api-key/)
Please let me know how this goes for you.
October 11, 2018 at 9:58 am #1641654LeonardParticipantHey that google map thing worked
Thanks!

And back to my first question, it seems easier to just keep what I have, it’s working fine.
But is there way to show the featured image for the “[tribe_featured_venue slug=”noto”] shortode?Sample : http://leonardmalcom.com/dna/noto/
October 11, 2018 at 10:02 am #1641655LeonardParticipantSorry, I tried to edit my statement but your edit button isn’t working.
Edit: To clarify, I would like to show the images for the event list shortcode [tribe_featured_venue slug=”noto”].
October 15, 2018 at 4:22 pm #1643452CliffMemberHi, Leonard. Sorry the Edit link didn’t work.
So for tribe_featured_venue, are you wanting the venue’s featured image once on the page or are you wanting the featured image of each event displayed from that shortcode?
Either way, you could override the template file: /wp-content/plugins/events-pro/src/views/pro/widgets/venue-widget.php
You could use one of the action hooks in that file, or you could alter any part of the file’s output by following our Themer’s Guide (our “how-to” walk-through video may prove helpful).
Please let me know how this goes for you.
