Before upgrading to 4.2.3, the Facebook API created 25000 instances of one event. This is the same issue you have addressed multiple times in this forum–but I still don’t have a viable solution for purging them from the database, and it’s affecting other functions on my site.

PLEASE reply with step by step instruction son a) how to implement the snippet to rebuild the database, and b) the SQL command to purge the database table of these events. This is a critical issue for me.

    Hey Eric,

Sorry to hear about the troubles. Can you please confirm whether the issue still occurs after reviewing our Testing for conflicts guide? Your System Information will be very useful too. Reason I ask is because it’ll help us narrow down the exact source of conflict.

Take a look at this Knowledgebase article; it provides a few options for cleaning up the duplicated events and provides more information on the matter. Please let me know if you have any questions and we’ll proceed from there.

Enjoy the rest of your day and thank you for choosing us for your events calendar needs.
    Cheers!

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
