ParticipantHi,
I just upgraded to the event calendar 4.3.4.2 and pro 4.1.3. We are no longer getting the map with the venue on the event page. If we click on the link of the venue the google map is at the top of the venue page.
I have checked my settings and google map option is checked.
I tried the update on a staging version of the site. all the plugins were the same except for the Event Calendar Pro. The staging site does not have the pro version.
I am NOT seeing the google map issue on the staging site. If I need to test another theme I can ask my boss but since the theme is the same on the staging site and there is no issue I’m not sure that is the issue.
Can you point us in the right direction?
Thanks for your help.

MemberHi, Edward.
Sorry you’re experiencing this.
Is this happening for every one of your events? Or every event at a specific/single venue? Or just one event?
Please provide a link to an event experiencing this.
I should be able to help with this information.
Thanks.

ParticipantCliff, I noticed the venue shows the map but the event itself doesn’t. for some reason I no longer have the check boxes on the admin side.

MemberInteresting. In that case, I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Sixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

ParticipantThanks Cliff. I will look at our versions. As far as turning off plugins and changing the theme. Since the staging site with the same plugins and theme is working is it possible to have a conflict with a plugin or theme?
I’ll also look at the debug and the console errors to see if I can get more information.
Thanks
Lisa

MemberIt is best to have a staging or development site instead of doing this on your live site.
If your staging site doesn’t have the issue even though it has all the same plugins and theme activated, it could be a conflict with a plugin or theme option.
Yes, please do look at WP_DEBUG and the console whenever possible.
