ParticipantHi There,
I am a web developer and am using Events Calendar Pro on my site. All is functioning as intended, but here’s the problem. I have several clients using Events Calendar, and the clients with the most recent version (4.2.4), are having trouble with the Google Map not showing. There is an outline of where it should be, but no map.PLEASE NOTE: The google map displayed prior to launch and prior to the upgrade.
Regarding this recent google map addition. I saw that the “Display Google Map” now appears in both the venue and the event editor. Could this be the conflict? Did you know that if you have it checked in one place, it’s not checked in the other? Is there some sort of conflict with this new functionality? Thanks for your help!
Regards,
N LeV-

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot this with you.
Google has changed their map’s system and requires an API to use them now.
We have a field in place to add that API.
Please see these two guides for setting them up:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/google-maps-not-showing-up/
If you still have issues after adding the API please provide a link to the issue in a private reply and I can take a look.
Thanks

MemberHi,
It sounds like you have another plugin loading the Google Map API.
Can you please follow our testing for conflicts guide:
And see if that can narrow down the cause of that.
Thanks

MemberHi,
It looks like there is no API key added so it is giving a warning.
I cannot tell might without looking at the actual page.
Let me know if you can provide that.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Glad it is closer.
I am not seeing this error: “‘webkitURL’ is deprecated. Please use ‘URL’ instead.”
I do not believe it is coming from our plugin either.
It’s because there’s also that link to a Google Map. It’s right under the address listed under the Venue.
Unfortunately, it is not causing the message. It is loading the api script twice and that is just a link.
It is another plugin or theme that is loading the maps api script. If it is working you may not have to worry about it, but it could break in the future.
Thanks
