    Hi,

We bought our website from a previous owner in August 2016. We soon realized we inherited a MESS. We’ve fixed everything we could (loads of plugins that were not used, database “junk”, a new host – dedicated server, etc). One thing we (AND our developers) have not been able to fix is our constant problems with the Events Calendar PRO plugin. We are continually getting 405 errors (not allowed) when updating, deleting and adding events. We see the most problems with reoccurring events. Looking back at a previous thread on our account (the old owner must have written it), her issue with reoccuring events goes back to May 2015!!!

Please, we are desperate to get our plugin working correctly! We’ve deleted as many old events as we can and are working towards having only 13 months of events in our database. Can someone please review our account. Let me know if you need our login info. Please let us know our options b/c getting 405 errors is just sickening and it feels like no one can help us. We are loyal customer. Thank you in advance,

Note: our developer did not there was a problem with Events Calendar plugin but we have not yet been able to fully solve.

    Hi, Erin.

    Thanks for your thorough message.

HTTP Status 405 is Method Not Allowed, which hasn’t been commonly-reported. If I had to guess, switching your theme would solve it… on that note, here are our recommended troubleshooting s<span style=”font-size: 0.875rem;”>teps:</span>

There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.

If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.

Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.

You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
