    Hi,

I’ve ran into a problem with the combination “Events Calendar Pro — WP User Frontend Pro”. I’ve described the problem in four steps. I’d like step 3 and 4 to not be necessary. It seems like I’m missing a few actions when I create a new post from the front-end using a WP User Frontend Pro form. When I update the new event through the back-end, everything is fixed. Can you guys help me figure out how I get all the proper actions triggered when I create a new post from the front-end?

This is my problem, explained in an example:

    1. I fill in the WP User Frontend Pro field from the front-end. It’s an event on August 16th from 09:00 till 16:00.

    2. When I save the form and navigate to the “Calendar” page, the newly created event IS visible on the calendar, but the block isn’t filled from 09:00 till 16:00 (see first screenshot attached)

    3. When I go to the back-end and click “Edit” on the newly created post and then click the blue “Update” button, the post is updated.

    4. Now, when I go to the “Calendar” page, the block IS filled from 09:00 till 16:00…. (see second screenshot attached)

Any idea how I can fix this?

    Hello Jorrit!

Thanks for reaching out to us and for using our plugins! 🙂

I’m sorry your are experiencing that issue, but unfortunately, we can’t give support for customizations like that as we state here > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/

I’m not really familiar with the WP User Frontend Pro plugin, but it could be that it’s not saving the dates in the proper format in the database.

You might want to check out our Community Events plugin here > https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-community-events/ which I think has a similar functionality to what you are trying to accomplish.

If you are not sure about it and want to give it a try, we have a pretty cool refund policy > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/

I hope that helps! Let me know if you have other questions about it.

    Best,
    Victor

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
