Formatted Date Shortcode not working with Revolution Slider

Just to clarify, yes I have read the tutorial on integrating the events calendar and revolution slider. I have also read everyone else’s forum questions related to the same topic.

I also downloaded and activated the Formatted Dates shortcode plugin for the Events Calendar.

I then proceeded to use this shortcode on my events slider:
[tribe_formatted_event_date id={{id}} format="F j, Y, g:ia T" timezone="America/New_York"]

However, whenever I check, this is the message on my slide:

“The Timezone argument for this shortcode is invalid. Please visit php.net/manual/timezones.php (This message is only shown to Contributors and Higher Level users)

I then proceeded to try this code instead:
[tribe_formatted_event_date id={{id}} format="F j, Y, g:ia T"]
and
[tribe_formatted_event_date id={{id}} format="F j, Y, g:ia"]

And every time, I get the same message. I am running Revolution slider 5.4.3.1
