Filter Bar not showing on shortcode

I just updated to the latest version of the Filter Bar and the drop-down options under “View As” is not showing up on the pages where I’m using a calendar shortcode.

Unfortunately, Filter Bar does not work with shortcodes.

If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.

You can suggest it it http://tribe.uservoice.com.

Then whatever is appearing above Shortcodes isn’t showing the drop-down view under “View As”. If it’s not technically called the Filter Bar, it’s what you programmed to appear in that place.

Can you start by going through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/?  I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict. 

We recommend conducting these tests on a staging server (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-using-wordpress-staging-site/).

Begin by deactivating all other plugins, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists.

Also, double check for any other updates available (Dashboard » Updates). 

Can you respond also with your System Info https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

Please let me know if the issue still persists after these tests.

I put it on a testing server and finally figured out what plugin is causing the issue – The Events Calendar: Filter Bar plugin.

Our plugins are tested with each other to avoid these conflicts. It is possible, but I haven’t been able to reproduce it nor have we had conflict reports yet from others. That said, when you run Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/ and no other plugins except ours, does it work?
