Dan
ParticipantHi there!
We were pretty far behind the curve for updating to the new Events Tickets Plus, having continued to use WooTickets for a long time after it expired. Today we renewed our licenses to update plugins – Events Calendar Pro updated no problem. WooTickets said it was expired and to use Event Tickets Plus instead. I downloaded the core Events Tickets so that we could switch over, but I am getting a fatal error that says:
Fatal error: Class ‘Tribe__Events__Tickets__Woo__Main’ not found in /home/content/56/11185256/html/wp-content/plugins/wootickets/src/deprecated/TribeWooTickets.php on line 5I went into function.php and found that “Tribe__Events__Tickets__Woo__Main” was in fact present in line five so I am confused about that. I did some digging and found that you are supposed to deactivate previous forms of the plugin before activating the new one. SO I deactivated WooTickets and broke our site, and spent an hour on the phone with our host (sorry GoDaddy) to get it back up. It’s up now, but I have no idea how to proceed in activating/updating to Events Tickets Plus!
Thank you thank you for your help!

MemberHi Dan.
Sorry you’re having this issue.
You’ll need to use our new Event Tickets plugin and its paid add-on, Event Tickets Plus. Everyone with a legacy “tickets” plugin (e.g. WooTickets, EDD Tickets) should already have a copy of Event Tickets Plus in their account. You can read more at Moving to Event Tickets Plus, but basically you just deactivate WooTickets, activate ET and ET+, and you should be good to go.
Please review this information and let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
Thanks!

ParticipantYes I was trying to switch over to Event Tickets plus, that’s why this whole thing happened. But as I said, deactivating WooTickets completely broke my site. I had to have godaddy help me out to get it up and running again. Basically I can’t deactivate the old or activate the new without a fatal error.

ParticipantI tried deactivating woocommerce tickets again, and it happened again:
Fatal error: Class ‘TribeWooTickets’ not found in /home/content/56/11185256/html/wp-content/themes/rowan-theme/functions.php on line 858
And the entire site is down…

MemberAh!
Your active theme — Rowan Theme — has a PHP snippet in its functions.php file.
You need to search that file for TribeWooTickets and comment out that bit of PHP code.

ParticipantOk thanks that worked! So now I have updated to the new Events Calendar Pro and Event Ticket Plus. However, when I try to go to our calendar page, it is just blank – not even an error message. Did i miss something when updating?

MemberDoes your Rowan Theme have a “tribe-events” folder in it? If yes, I’d suggest renaming it temporarily to make sure it’s not affecting things.
However, I did notice that link doesn’t have any content at all when looking at the page’s source code. This is a major issue.
I’d suggest following our recommended troubleshooting steps:
Please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions:
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to TwentySixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any PHP errors you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts mode).
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

ParticipantI switched to 2015 and we can now access the calendar.
We do have a tribe-events folder, but I can’t figure out how to rename it?
And yes everything is up to date.

MemberIf you move your Rowan Theme’s “tribe-events” folder to instead be located within the Twenty Fifteen theme folder, does Twenty Fifteen still work? Does Rowan Theme work after there’s no longer a “tribe-events” folder in it?

ParticipantThe issue was that we had hit our memory limit. Thanks for your help!
