Facebook Sharing for recurring events

I am having an issue with sharing recurring events on Facebook. I am not running into this issue with single events that do not recur. I created two test events: (non-recurring) https://explorestlouis.com/event/testing-fb-postno-recurring/ and (recurring) https://explorestlouis.com/event/testing-fb-postrecurring/2018-04-23/
When I copy and paste the link to the non-recurring event into Facebook as a new post it displays the image, site url, title, and description as expected (see attachment FB-non-recurring-event). When I copy and paste the link to the recurring event into Facebook it displays only the site url and an unfamiliar title (see attachment FB-recurring-event).
I have tried to disabled and re-enabled the ‘Add Open Graph meta data’ Facebook Social setting in the YOAST plugin and that didn’t seem to fix the problem. Do you have any recommendations on what I can do to resolve this issue?
