    Hi,

    We seem to be experiencing the same issue as everyone in that our Facebook events don’t seem to be importing into our calendar via Event Aggregator. This is the sole reason that we purchased this plugin.

    Do you know when it will be functional again? Is there a workaround (ex: exporting FB events automatically to a Google Calendar and pulling it down automatically from there) that we can use in the meantime?

    Hi J.J.,

    Following some recent changes to the Facebook API, imports from Facebook are currently blocked. I’m sorry for the bad news here! As far as getting things back up and running, we really don’t know at this point – it will depend on what happens with the Facebook API moving forward. We are posting updates here as they become available.

    Event Aggregator will still work normally for other types of imports like Google calendars, so if you have a way to get your events from Facebook into Google, you could then import them from Google.

    I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you right now, but if Event Aggregator no longer works for your project, we’d be happy to switch out your license for another product. If you’d like to go this route, please let me know!

    But it seems like you are only updating this page (link below) – since THIS link below has TWO more updates than the page where the updates are supposed to be.

    Hi @jskk123,

    Just to clarify, updates regarding the Facebook issue specifically are posted on the second page that you linked to (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/ea-fb-privacy-policy/). The status page (https://theeventscalendar.com/event-aggregator-status/) is also continuously updated, but this page is for EA issues with any of the import sources, including Facebook. Sorry for the confusion there!
