ParticipantWe have two problems occurring with events in admin not showing properly in calendar.
Event #1: Poll Greeter and Watcher Training Session 9/22
this event had two different days with the same time. The 9/25 date is not showing up at all.Event #2: Phone Bank with the Florida Democratic Party on Wednesdays Recurring and starting 9/19
times are set as 10am-1pm, 1-4pm, 4-7 pm.
First it showed up as the event with 2 times correct. then when i went back in, the admin times had changed so i fixed it, saved it, confirmed that it was correct. Now it only shows 2 of the 3 times and only the first time is correct. This is for a political party and these events are critical in light of an upcoming election. Please help us to get this working.

KeymasterHi there,
Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with recurring events. I will try to help you get this sorted.
I replicated both recurrence patterns in my test install, and I’m not seeing any of the issues you illustrated. Can you share your system information with me?
Thanks,

KeymasterHi again,
Thanks for providing that. It looks like you are using the latest versions, as I am when testing this.
Can you try working through the troubleshooting steps outlined in our Testing for Conflicts Guide to see if this behaves differently when using the Twenty Seventeen theme and having all other plugins deactivated?
Once set up, try recreating the recurrence pattern over from scratch, and see if you have different results.
Let me know how that goes.
Thanks,

ParticipantPlease read this b/c this is still a problem – even though we figured out a work-around for the time being.
first of all, it is not possible to change the theme. This is a custom project and the theme is critical. We disabled all but the theme dependent plugins and your plugin. the same errors persisted. What we had to do was to add a duplicate event time to get Phone Bank with the Florida Democratic Party on Wednesdays from 10-1 (the main time) to show on the front end. With the other event, Poll Greeter and Watcher Training Session, even though the 25th was in the admin, we had to add it again to get it to show up. this is not a conflict with a plugin. it is a problem with the way the data is being processed by your plugin. I shouldn’t have to put in duplicate events in an event that has multiple times to get it to display on the front end properly. This was not a problem until your last upgrade and we haven’t changed anything on the site.

KeymasterHi again,
I understand that the theme is critical to the look of your live site. I am only asking you to switch to a default theme while troubleshooting, so we can rule out any issues that may be caused by the theme. If there is an issue when using your theme, we can then look to see why and maybe help find a solution.
If you don’t have a staging site to do testing on, you can try the Healthcheck Plugin that is linked to in our Testing for Conflicts Guide. This will allow you to test the functionality of our plugins with the default theme and all other plugins disabled, without affecting the experience of the site to your users.
Trying to create these recurring event patterns on my test site with Twenty Seventeen, I am not seeing the issues you are reporting. In order to find out what’s causing this for you, we need to limit all of the differences between your site and my test site to know where to look for the problem.
Once you are in the default configuration recommended in the troubleshooting steps, please try to create a new test event with the same recurrence pattern, and see if it behaves any differently.
Let me know how that goes.
Thanks,

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
