Events in blog loop

Hi!
The option to show events in blog loop does not work in my site. (Slide mag theme)
Is it any solution? If I upgrade for PRO will it work?

The functionality for the blog loop should come inside just The Events Calendar. Upgrading to Events Calendar Pro would not directly resolve this issue.
