ParticipantI have been trying for weeks to import my events from facebook. http://www.facebook.com/theriverstop. It use to work but now no longer is even though I run a new import or even when I try to update old imports. I have followed all of the help guidelines. It use to work but now it does not. I am using word press. I would like a refund if this cannot get resolved. Thank you.

MemberHi Heather!
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Facebook recently announced a range of changes to their APIs (the protocols we use to ‘speak’ to their servers and retrieve event information) which are having an affect on Event Aggregator users.
As a result, Facebook imports that previously worked are not currently possible. Further details can be found in the following article > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/ea-fb-privacy-policy/
You can use keep using Event Aggregator to import from other sources like Meetup and Eventbrite. You can see the current Event Aggregator status in https://theeventscalendar.com/event-aggregator-status/
…As of July 18, 2018, we remain blocked. Facebook has reviewed our application to resume use of their platform but had some questions about various aspects. We have promptly responded to those and are now back to waiting on a further update.
Current Facebook guidance suggests applications like ours are processed within 10 weeks. We’re a little past that point, now, and are unsure if we face a similarly lengthy delay or not for Facebook to complete the process following their most recent assessment of our application.
Unfortunately, we are past the refund date for your license, however we can swap your Event Aggregator license for another of our products. So let me know if this is something you’d like and I’ll be happy to make the change.
Best,

ParticipantThat’s a rip off and totally unfair. The only reason I used you is to import from Facebook. I have no need for your other products and should at least get a partial refund. Your company is false advertising and apparently steal from small Mom and pop companies. I will be making sure the public is aware of your fraud and unwillingness to refund when customers are unhappy. Regards,

MemberHi Heather,
I completely understand your frustration with this situation. Specially if you were exclusively importing events from Facebook.
I have reached out to the team about this and we were able to issue a full refund for your latest license upgrade which was made in February, corresponding to order number #1449464. The funds should be back in your account within 5-10 business days.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
