Events From Calendar pop out won't go away

Hello,

I was tinkering around with the templates and found that the Events From calendar pop out doesn’t go away from my calendar page. At first I thought I had done something wrong so I deleted the plugin and reinstalled everything again but it’s still there. Can you let me know if it’s some glitch or a setting I’m missing? Thanks!

Hi Astrid. I visited http://covalime3.com/thirdstreetsouth.com/events/ and saw your Events From datepicker (https://cl.ly/2B1o2z1o1R2D), but I didn’t understand what you’re stating the issue to be. What does, “doesn’t go away from my calendar page” mean?

Hi,

I took a screen capture and circled the item in question in bright green. It’s the DATE FROM calendar pop up. For some reason, it just stays on the page and I can’t figure out how to get rid of it from the view. Thanks for your help!

That date picker is from the Tribe Bar, which you can see at our Demo Site: https://cl.ly/1O2o3L3C3y2T

I’m not sure why only that part of your Tribe Bar is being displayed, but you can disable the Tribe Bar completely by checking the “Disable the Event Search Bar” box in your Display Settings (wp-admin > Events > Settings > Display tab)

Please let me know if this solves the problem for you.

Yeah, thing is, that setting was already checked on. It should have disabled the entire bar, but that straggler Date From area stays stuck. Any ideas? I tried deleting and reinstalling the plugin, too. Thanks!

Odd.

Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

• Downloads / Version Numbers
• TEC Automatic Updates
• or TEC Manual Updates
• WordPress core updates

Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.

If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to TwentySixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any PHP errors you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.

Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts mode).

Let us know what you find out.
