Events don’t show on blog page (using Genesis w widgetized home pg BrunchChild)

Hi. I am using the Genesis theme with the child theme of Brunch Pro (Feast Design Co.) on my website ( http://www.smellingsaltsjournal.com ). So, I have a widgetized home page. And my Blog pages show up on a separate page I’ve labelled The Journal and which uses the BLOG PAGE Template from Genesis. Also, I have this styled to appear in grid formation (Though that seems not to affect what shows up on the page) While I’ve checked the Events calendar to show in my blog roll on Settings in the EC plugin, these events are NOT showing up in my blog roll. (I have both a current event and future event planned). When I disable all plugins this still doesn’t work. BUT, when I switch to a basic theme, my events DO show up in the main blog roll (even future dated ones? – oopsie). Is there some sort of code you all have mocked up that I can insert into my css/functions/theme files to add events to the blog roll that shows up on my Blog page template pages? [I’m hesitant to invest in the PRO version if I can get basic funcitonality without! ] Thanks. This is a gorgeous calendar! Hoping to get it up and running. Happy to provide links if necessary!
