Hi,
I have imported an event from Eventbrite.com and the registration form is not displaying on the Single Event Page. I see this has already been reported. I’ve noted that we are both using the Avada theme – I know the Avada devs have done some theme integration with the Events Calendar. This is the imported event: https://www.busseltonlibraries.com.au/event/jeremy-scott-author-talk/. And Eventbrite link: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/jeremy-scott-author-talk-tickets-39381991597
Thanks,

Reporting the same issue as: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/eventbrite-registration-not-displaying-on-event-page/October 31, 2017 at 6:24 am #1372049Jaime MarchwinskiKeymasterHi Marina,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Since you suspect that this may be a theme issue, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

I’ve worked it out myself. Avada has changed the styling of the single events page in their theme by adding lots of stuff to the right hand sidebar. I’m assuming the styling change placed the Eventbrite form in the right hand sidebar, but because of the way the Avada guys styled the sidebar it wasn’t appearing. I didn’t have time to get into the nitty gritty of how the Avada devs changed the structure of that page, so I just used your function code to change the position of the Eventbrite form to appear after the description and that fixed the problem. The form now appears as it should.
Thanks for your help anyway.
