ParticipantHi Everyone,
Recently I got the Eventbrite plugin for my wordpress website but the problem is that i have a issue with adding API key to my plugin setting.
Error : When I press the “Get Authorozation” button it takes me to another page (Eventbrite) and there is two options -Allow and Deny. When i press Allow it will take me to the main page with nothing changed.
Application URL * : http://jga-demo.momeninia.com
OAuth Redirect URI : http://jga-demo.momeninia.com/tribe-oauth/eventbrite/October 27, 2016 at 10:33 pm #1184260Hunter
ModeratorHi and welcome,
Thank you for choosing our Eventbrite Tickets plugin and welcome to the Premium support forums. Before we proceed, I’ll need you to review our Testing for conflicts guide and try to reproduce the issue with the default theme and only our plugins active.
It would also be helpful if you could find out if cURL is installed on the server you site is being hosted on. We have a logged bug of users not able to Authorize through Eventbrite.com when cURL is not installed on their server.
Keep me informed on what you learn and we’ll continue investigating from there. Thanks again and have a great Friday. Cheers!

ModeratorHello,
I attempted to authorize my Eventbrite.com account through my test installation with Avada version 5.0.2 and was able to do so successfully. I’m not really sure why it’s not authorizing for you :-/
Can you send over screenshots of your Eventbrite app settings and the Events > Settings > APIs tab in your WP admin dashboard? Feel free to do so in a private reply. I assume you’ve already reviewed the Configuring Eventbrite Tickets KB article, but if you haven’t, please do so and let me know if that helps.
Keep me posted and have a great rest of the weekend. Cheers!

ModeratorHello,
Thank you for sending that info over. Have you received an email to the address associated with your Eventbrite.com account with the subject “Your Eventbrite API Key has been approved”? Also, are you seeing any errors in your server’s error log? What happens when you set wp_debug to TRUE on your wp-config.php file? Do any errors output at the top of the screen when you attempt to authorize from Eventbrite.com?
I really wish I could be of more help here but the only logged bug we have relating to your issue has to do with the lack of cURL not being installed on user’s servers. You have pointed out the issue subsides when you revert back to the default WP theme, so there is unfortunately not much I can do here. (see What support is provided for license holders?)
I recommend reaching out to a developer who can help address the issue. We have a list of customizers that can most likely solve your problems.
Sorry again and best of luck getting everything working properly. Cheers 🙂
