I have tickets enabled on woocommerce products and have set all the run times available to choose from on Event Tickets. These arent showing on the front end product view and I am no longer able to change the attributes on the woo products with tickets enabled. I am using Divi… is this a known issue as we are wanting to purchase Event Ticket Plus to enable sales and registration form completion.

    Thank you,
    Paula

Good evening Paula and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products. It’s truly appreciated.

Actually, Event Tickets is not meant to run with WooCommerce. Only Event Tickets Plus is.

So I am unsure exactly of how things are set up on your end, but normally, this should not work without the latest version of Event Tickets Plus.

With that in mind, there is no known bug between our products and Divi.

Either way, my recommendation would be to install Event Tickets Plus to solve this issue.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Hi Geoff,

Thank you for your information, really appreciate you getting back to me.

    Two more questions:
    1. Is there trial version I can put in place to see how it will work for us..ie. try before you buy? Or buy, try and get a refund if it is not suitable?
    2. Do you offer a discounted rate to Not for Profit Organisations?

So what we are wanting to achieve with WooCommerce and Event Ticket Plus is the following:

Setup a product that costs $30
Associated with this product are tickets for specific times – 1 or more people can register for a certain time
There needs to be a form for each person registered for that ticket to collect their individual details
We need to be able to cross sell products for this product

Back end, we need to be able to export a spreadsheet showing the product, the ticket selected (time), and details for each person registered with each person on a separate row.
We need to be able to automate and customise emails to each entrant.

Will the Event Ticket Plus combined with WooCommerce do this?

    Good evening Paula,

    Thank you for writing back.

    1. Is there trial version I can put in place to see how it will work for us..ie. try before you buy? Or buy, try and get a refund if it is not suitable?

All of our plugins come with a 30 day refund policy.
So in other words, it gives you plenty of time to test it out 🙂

    2. Do you offer a discounted rate to Not for Profit Organisations?

Great question. I believe you will find all of your answers here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/do-you-offer-discounts-for-nonprofit-organizations/

Setup a product that costs $30
Associated with this product are tickets for specific times – 1 or more people can register for a certain time
There needs to be a form for each person registered for that ticket to collect their individual details

Event Tickets Plus will let you do all of this, but instead of creating the product first, you will create the event and within the event create the ticket(s).

We need to be able to cross sell products for this product

The cross selling aspect will be handled by WooCommerce or rather by a WooCommerce plugin of your choice (there are quite a few out there).

The reason for this being that we hand over the complete transactional aspect of things to WooCommerce.

Back end, we need to be able to export a spreadsheet showing the product, the ticket selected (time), and details for each person registered with each person on a separate row.

We have an attendee list and a sales report that can both be exported (and merged or tweaked) in the Spreadsheet software of your choice.

We need to be able to automate and customise emails to each entrant.

Each registrant does receive an email automatically and that email can be customized.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Thank you SO much Geoff, that is extremely helpful!! I have applied for the not for profit discount for Event Tickets plus, so just awaiting the coupon code before I go ahead. I dont suppose this can be applied after the case? Ie. I purchase the plugin and then get refunded once the confirmation comes though?

Thanks again Geoff for all your assistance 🙂

    Good evening Paula,

I am super stoked that this was helpful to you.

As far as our refund policy is concerned, we will pretty much refund for any reason as long as it stays within the 30 days period.

Normally, answers to our nonprofit take far less time than that.

You are welcome back in our support forums any time 🙂

For now, I am going to close this thread.

    Have a great week!

    Hi Geoff,

So, I have purchased the Event Tickets Plus Addon … but… sadly the Event Tickets add on is still causing an issue with my products.. the attributes are unable to load.
Earlier in the thread, you assured me that Event Ticket plus runs smoothly with Woo Comm and Divi, however, one still needs the event ticket plugin activated together with the Event tickets plus plugin. So we are back to square one with the event tickets still causing a problem with the products.

I really need to setup these products this week with tickets associated to purchase and am horribly stuck as it just wont work. please can you help or send me instructions on how to setup my variable product with tickets to purchase? I have hunted through the knowledgebase and forums and cant find anything Im afraid 🙁

    Thank you very much,
    Paula

    Good evening Paula,

    Thank you for your answer.

the attributes are unable to load. Earlier in the thread, you assured me that Event Ticket plus runs smoothly with Woo Comm and Divi, however, one still needs the event ticket plugin activated together with the Event tickets plus plugin. So we are back to square one with the event tickets still causing a problem with the products.

I am sorry that the addition of Event Tickets Plus did not yield better results.

As stated before, there is no known reason why there should be an issue between Divi and our products. In fact, I have tested this personally on my end.

The good news is that purchasing Event Tickets Plus also entitles you to premium support, including the use of private replies.

For that reason, I would like to invite you to continue this conversation in a premium thread here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/forum/event-tickets/event-tickets-plus/

Simply make sure you refer the current thread in there (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/event-tickets-with-woocommerce-products-on-divi-theme-not-working/).

As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

Secondly, could you share screenshots of the issues at the same time.

Hang in there as we get to the bottom of this one together!

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
