event tickets plus plugin not showing

Hello,

I purchased event tickets plus – installed the event tickets core plugin, but am now unable to either find the plus plugin, only get the event aggregator option to put in a licence key, and the download isn’t a zip so can’t upload this as a plugin – i’m obviously missing something but at a loss for a solution right now

When I looked at your System Info https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/, I didn’t see Event Tickets or Event Tickets Plus activated. Can you confirm that they are installed AND activated in Plugins > Installed (and Woo as well).

Can you go through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/?  I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict. 

We recommend conducting these tests on a staging server (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-using-wordpress-staging-site/). 

If you are unable to do so, please install the Health Check plugin so that you can effectively disable all plugins without website visitors noticing any changes. See https://make.wordpress.org/support/handbook/appendix/troubleshooting-using-the-health-check/#troubleshooting for how to do this.

Begin by deactivating all other plugins, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists.

Also, double check for any other updates available (Dashboard » Updates). 

Please let me know if the issue still persists after these tests.

Hi Courtney
Event Tickets is installed and activated, so is WooCommerce
I cannot find the event tickets plus plugin, that’s my problem…
I thought to use the licence key, but the advanced settings on Event Manager doesn’t give me that option (only for event aggregator)
I don’t mind uninstalling everything but how can there be a conflict if the plugin isn’t installed?
Please advise?

I resolved the issue myself. I zipped the download so i was then able to upload it into wordpress. If I may say so: a bit strange you didn’t come up with that solution?

Hi Cindy

Thanks for that update. It sounds like your browser settings are set to unzip files automatically. We see that happen occasionally, but most browsers do not unzip files immediately. It sounds like you didn’t have Event Tickets Plus installed but do now. I’m happy you’ve got it working.
