ParticipantWe are utilising Event Tickets Plus (version 4.1.2) with The Events Calendar (version 4.1.3) and WooCommerce 2.5.5 to sell tickets on our site.
Together with the ticket information, we have a set of custom fields which are required. This includes a waiver and other details.
However, what we have found is this custom field information is not captured for some of the attendees who have completed the purchase. It is captured for other attendees.
Can you please advise why this ticketing information’s missing? How can we retrieve the missing information for those who have already purchased the tickets and how can we make sure that this information is captured for all future attendees?

MemberHi Lester. This isn’t a known issue at this time.
For an event that is behaving intermittently like this, could you please provide me with some screenshots of your Attendees screen and a link to the event on your website?
Thank you.

MemberLester, this isn’t your exact question, but you might be interested in one or several of these snippets:
Could be adapted to default just 1 of your many WooCommerce tickets to a default quantity (like the “suggested” or “most common” ticket choice):

Force certain tickets to sync quantities. GIF preview:

Make WooCommerce cart Quantity input field non-editable (readonly) ONLY FOR Event Tickets Plus products:

To answer your specific issue, I cannot tell which tickets on your Single Event page correlate to those tickets in your screenshot.
Did you make sure each of those tickets actually has required fields?
If yes, then the only known bug at this time is that required fields can be submitted if the user’s browser doesn’t have JavaScript enabled.
In case that’s your issue with these attendees (not really able to tell at this point in time), I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

MemberHi Lester.
I’m uncertain what you’re asking. Could you please rephrase?

ParticipantI have been addressing these issues and there is a problem when the user navigates away to cart (in woocommerce) or another page if they hit the back button. The qty input field isn’t reset to zero so the jquery that reveals the form and the standard html5 error checking for whether the form is filled in never fires. The end result of that is that the add to basket button can be submitted without any data being collected. This could be handled in a session cookie but is currently not handled at all.
*edit*
I am also seeing this JS error when I navigate back to event page:
‘An invalid form control with name=’tribe-tickets-meta[85][1][first-name]’ is not focusable.’

MemberBen, I was not able to replicate the following:
- go to an event with Woo tickets
- add a ticket to cart
- navigate to another page besides WooCommerce cart
- go back to Woo cart and see the quantity of tickets is *zero*? (for me, it was *1*, as expected)
Please let me know if this is the correct process to try to replicate the issue you’re experiencing. If it is, I’d suggest following our recommended troubleshooting steps:
Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to TwentySixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any PHP errors you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts mode).
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.
