ParticipantI posted this issue yesterday, but I didn’t recieve a response and my post seems to have dissapeared.
So posting again…I created an event. The event has been published and is set to be visible.
However, the event does show on the Calendar view. The event is *not* selected to be hidden from Event Listings.
The single for the event loads as normal if a user manually navigated to it via a manually created link.
What could be preventing it from showing?

ModeratorHello,
Welcome back π
I did a quick test to see if I could reproduce your issue but was unable to do so. I also checked our logged bug reports for anything resembling what you’ve described, but came up empty-handed.
Can you please review our Testing for conflicts guide and reply back with your findings? If you’ve already done this, try setting up a test environment using only our plugins and the default WP theme to see if you’re able to replicate the issue.
Thanks for reaching out and have a good rest of your day. Cheers!

ParticipantHi Hunter!
Thanks for pointing me to the page on testing.
Unfortunately, I’m still seeing the same result: the event isn’t showing.
These are the steps that I took to test:* I updated my local copy of the site. On both the remote and local versions I made sure that all plugins and themes are up-to-date. I made sure that core is up-to-date. Then I went to work on local…
* On the main Plugin screen, I went down the list, disabling plugins one-by-one. Every time I disabled a plugin I checked the calendar view to see if the event had shown up.
The event didn’t show up.
* I disabled the active theme: a custom child of Elegant Themes ‘Extra’. I activated Twenty Fifteen. Alas, the event still doesn’t show in the calendar view yet!
* I checked chrome’s console for messages and errors.
I can see messages related to Events Calendar Pro. They appear to be debug messages indicating successful operations. There do not appear to be errorsThe single is still visible.
To make sure I wasn’t looking at a page from my browser cache I loaded the page in an Incognito Mode window. And then a viewed in a browser that I hadn’t used to view the page yet.
What should the next step be for debugging?
What could I be missing?Thanks.

ParticipantHey Hunter.
As you suggested, I went ahead and set up a test environment.
I created this on a localdev server.
It’s a bare, fresh WordPress install running the Twenty Fifteen theme. The only plugins I’m running are The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro, and the WordPress Importer plugin.
I exported the events from the production server and imported them to the new dev site.
The import went smoothly. In my new dev site, the event shows up in the calendar view.
This eliminates one of the possibly causes of the issue: maybe I was simply looking at the wrong place in the Calendar view.
What can I do from here to continue testing?

ModeratorHello,
Unfortunately there isn’t much more I can do here other than recommend you try the following steps:
- Try de-activating PRO and create a new non-recurrent event in the future. Does it show up in month view? If you re-activate PRO? (If this doesnβt work leave the event you created for testing and try to see if it shows with any of the other steps).
- Go to WP-Admin > Events > Settings > Display and un-check the options: βRecurring event instancesβ and βInclude events in main blog loopβ. Save Changes. Also un-check βEnable the Month View Cacheβ under the Display tab. Save Changes. Re-test.
I’m not able to reproduce your issue nor am I seeing any logged bug reports resembling your issue. Additionally, since you were able to resolve the conflict on the test domain, we aren’t able to provide much support.
I noticed your Filter Bar plugin was not up to the most recent version (4.3.2) – are you able to update to see if has any effect? I apologize I can’t do more here and if things get beyond your level of expertise, check out our list of customizers for additional assistance.
Thanks for understanding and have a great rest of your week. Cheers!
