ParticipantHello. We’ve been unable to add new events to the calendar for at least a week. I updated Events Calendar to 4.3.3 but the update for PRO is not showing up, so we are currently at 4.3.2. When creating a new event, the pop-up calendar no longer shows up, and manually changing the default today’s date to the event date does not work — it posts the event as today, no matter the date entered. Thank you.

MemberHi, Susanna. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
This isn’t currently a known issue so I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
You might see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Sixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please re-share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

ParticipantHi Cliff,
Our web developer looked into this, and found the following:The problem persists even when all plugins are deactivated except TEC + TEC Pro (both at v 4.3.3)
The problem persists regardless of the theme chosen: SBS custom theme, Genesis Framework, or Twenty-Fifteen
In any case, the JS console shows an error in the WP Admin… see attached screen shot.
It looks promising as an avenue of investigation.
Thank you!

MemberI couldn’t replicate this at the wp-admin Event edit screen.
Could you please send me a video screencast demonstrating the issue (making sure your console is in the video too)? Jing works nicely if you don’t know how to do one.
Thanks for your efforts here.

ParticipantHi Brook,
We don’t have SCRIPT_DEBUG enabled… WP_DEBUG either. The issue happens for new and existing events.
I am using Mac Safari 10.0.1

ParticipantThanks for getting back Gerry. I think we have isolated this issue. It has cropped up for users who have a different WordPress Address than their Site Address. Typically it will be something like the WordPress URL is https://example.com while the Side URL is http://example.com. Could you go to WP-Admin > Settings > General and double check your options there? If they are different from each other, such as one being HTTPs, could you alter them to match if possible? That should resolve the issue for now, while we work to release an actual patch in the future.
Does that all make sense? Did that work for you? Please let me know.
Cheers!
