    To Whom It May Concern:

We’re new beginners to wordpress and considering purchasing your Calendar Pro & Event Ticket Pro plugins for our websites but before we do we have a few questions.

    1) Can the plugins be configured to allow end users (customers) to log into their accounts and upload their own events and create tickets for retail in our woocommerce shop?

    2) If so, is documentation provided when purchased?

    3) If not, can you provide us with support to fulfil this requirement?

    4) Relating to the tickets database you mentioned that the database for any specific event can be forwarded as a .csv file for verification but as we’re considering developing a app to scan the bar codes does wordpress or your plugin allow remote access through their/your security?

    Thanks,

    Justin.

Good afternoon Justin and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

    1) Can the plugins be configured to allow end users (customers) to log into their accounts and upload their own events and create tickets for retail in our woocommerce shop?

Yes, absolutely. To accomplish that you will need:

    1. Our free the Events Calendar plugin: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar/
    2. Our free Event Tickets plugin: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets/
    3. Our premium Event Tickets Plus add-on: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/
    4. Our premium Community Events add-on: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-community-events/
    5. Our premium Community Tickets add-on: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/community-tickets/

You can save some money on those by purchasing the following bundle: https://theeventscalendar.com/bundles/bundle-community-manager/

    2) If so, is documentation provided when purchased?

All the required documentation is already available on our website. Just look for the “New user primer” links in each of the pages listed above (except for the bundle one of course).

    3) If not, can you provide us with support to fulfil this requirement?

Yes, absolutely. Purchasing these plugins also provides you with premium support for a year.
We will gladly assist you setting things up should you need it.

    4) Relating to the tickets database you mentioned that the database for any specific event can be forwarded as a .csv file for verification but as we’re considering developing a app to scan the bar codes does wordpress or your plugin allow remote access through their/your security?

That is a great question. You can already use pretty much any QR code scanner and it will work wonders to manage check-ins.
You only need to make sure that whoever is using that app is also logged-in WordPress with the proper user role.

So the short answer is yes, as long as a person or a service is logged-in properly, they should be able to access what they want.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Hi Geoff,

Thanks for your prompt reply, so far so good, we’re happy!

We aim to make purchase in 2 weeks.

Can you update the bundle for us please?

We’d like Event Calendar Pro x3, Event Tickets Plus x3 with the 1 year tech support to fulfil our requirements as listed above.

We’re not quite sure about the “community stuff” is about but we’ll review your website and feedback accordingly.

    Thanks,

    Justin.

    Hi Geoff,

We’ve reviewed your website and agree with your bundle suggestion but we need x3 though.

Depending on the quote provided if it’s within budget we’ll purchase the bundle for our 3 websites.

Failing that we’ll purchase singular bundles by brand priority.

    Thanks again,

    Justin

    Hello Justin,

    Thank you for writing back.

You actually need the Community Events and Community tickets to be able to handle your first requirement.

Can the plugins be configured to allow end users (customers) to log into their accounts and upload their own events and create tickets for retail in our woocommerce shop?

This is the only way to achieve this (unless your needs have changed).

We do not offer a “pick your bundle” option for now unfortunately, but it looks like you will not need it in your situation (based on my answer above).

The good news however is that we do offer a discount for purchasing the Community Manager Bundle 3 times.
By purchasing a business license you get access to that bundle for 3 sites.

You can read all about it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/bundles/bundle-community-manager/

Best regards and let me know if you have any other question.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
    The Events Calendar Support Team
