Drop down menus falls behind other options

I am testing out the free Events Calendar Plugin before I buy it. So far I love it, but I have 1 problem.

When creating a new events in the admin backend area, the drop downs for time hour, time minutes, state, etc falls behind the other drop downs further down the form, restricting me from making certain selections in the drop down

I cannot recreate this behavior, nor find other reports of it, so it seems like there’s a theme or plugin code conflict at the root of these display issues.

After EACH STEP in that article, check on the display issues with the dropdowns—does anything improve along the way?
