GuestHello, I’m really confused about which plugin I need to purchase. Can you please tell me? This is what I need to do ….
Currently I have visitors enter the information for any event they are hosting via this form http://www.theplasticdiaries.com/submit-your-event. I then have to manually transfer their entries into the free Modern Tribe Events Calendar plugin and publish it on the site. What I’d like to do is have people enter the information in a form and then it come through to me to Publish (with the ability to edit) or Decline Publishing. Is this possible with your products, and if so which plugin/s is it I need to purchase?
Also, is it possible to have the same fields I’ve laid out on the form I currently have? That’s a pretty important part but if it’s not possible, which fields does your form come with or allow?Thank you for your time.

KeymasterHello Kimberly,
Thanks for reaching out with your questions! I’m more than happy to help you out with this.
I checked your site on what exactly you are trying to do and I believe our plugins would be able to help you achieve your goals.
As a base you will need the core version of the Events Calendar found for free on WordPress.org: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/
To allow visitors to publish events on your site, you will need our Community Events plugin.
Here you will have a whole bunch of options like, do people need to register on your site before submitting or not, and so on.
This will not let you collect custom information yet, like the Is this an online event? question. For this to happen you will need our Events Calendar Pro plugin, which will allow you to create additional fields, recurring events and so much more.
You didn’t ask this, but in case you would like to sell tickets too on the site, then Event Tickets Plus, and potentially Community Tickets are the plugins that will help you in this.
In case you want to try, I would suggest you to start with the free base The Events Calendar and Community Events, and check if that fulfills your requirements. If not and you want the extra fields for example, then add Events Calendar Pro.
Also note, in case after testing you decide this is not the solution for you, we have a 30-day refund policy. But I doubt it would come to that. 😉
Let me know if this helps or if you have any other questions.
Cheers,

GuestThank you for your response, that does help a lot. However, before I proceed to purchasing the Community Events plugin, are you able to point me to where I can find the outline of your compiled questions/fields? I couldn’t locate this anywhere and the demo on this website doesn’t seem to show it. Thank you.
Just a further note, I already use the core version of your Events Calendar. That’s installed and being used. Thank you.

KeymasterHey Kimberly,
Sure thing. Head over here, this is a dev site I use.
http://tec.andrasguseo.com/events/community/addThis includes the Community Events plugin as well as Events Calendar Pro.
Without Events Calendar Pro:
- you would not have the event recurrence rules
- you wouldn’t be able to create the Additional fields
I hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything else.
Cheers,

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
