    Hi Cristina,

    It does not!

You can use WooCommerce Tickets with nothing more than WooCommerce itself and a copy of The Events Calendar (our free, core plugin).

    Does that answer your question?

    Hello TEC team,

    I have some questions:
    1. What is the difference in the license type:

    personal
    business
    agency

I want to use the site for one sports even website: races.

    2. Rating. I also need a plug-in that allows me to have rating for events people attended – specially those who purchased. Do you have something like this?

3 Results. If i am doing a sport event registration for races, I want to be able to publish results by the person who bought the entrance. Do you have something like this?

    4. Ticket – woo commerce: What is the difference between using your ticket add on of woo commerce for ticket registration or just using the free version?

    Hi Siri!

Generally its best to create a new topic of your own. That way, if the first customer has follow up questions, the topic won’t become too confusing!

The difference in license types is explained here: basically, if you intend only to operate the plugin on one site, a personal license will suffice.

With regards to ratings and results, we don’t ship tools to handle this straight “out of the box”, but our plugin suite is nothing if not extensible so you could certainly build some further customizations to achieve these goals.

Last but not least, I’m not too sure which other free plugin you are comparing WooCommerce Tickets to, but the idea is that it bridges the gap between WooCommerce and The Events Calendar – letting you set up tickets for events and sell them via WooCommerce.

I hope that helps – if you do have further questions though it would be great if you could post them in a new topic of your own.

    Thanks!

We are considering WooCommerce for our ticket sales. I have two questions:

    1) We already have our own “Events” system in place. Can we use the WooCommerce Tickets with that system, or is it tied only to Events Calendar? We basically just want a place where someone can buy the tickets – we don’t need an entire Events page setup.

    2) Does the WooCommerce Tickets able to draw off the WordPress theme being used — or is it at least easily modifiable to fit into the same theme we are using?

    Thanks.

    Hi WeAreTapestry,

It’s generally best to create a fresh topic of your own, but let me see if I can answer your questions πŸ™‚

    1) We already have our own β€œEvents” system in place. Can we use the WooCommerce Tickets with that system, or is it tied only to Events Calendar?

It’s been designed as an extension of The Events Calendar and relies on a number of services made available by that plugin. Theoretically, you could work around this with some clever coding but the end result would not be something we could offer support for.

In short, the best way to use WooCommerce Tickets is in tandem with The Events Calendar πŸ™‚

    2) Does the WooCommerce Tickets able to draw off the WordPress theme being used β€” or is it at least easily modifiable to fit into the same theme we are using?

    Absolutely.

All our plugins are engineered with further customizations in mind. Templates can easily be overridden and styles changed or added to meld the look and feel perfectly with that of your theme.

I’m going to go ahead and close this topic since it looks like your query was answered, Cristina πŸ™‚ … if you (or anyone else) has any follow-up questions definitely let us know by creating a new topic.

    Thanks again!
