ParticipantHello.
Doesn’t the Events Calendar Pro support user submission? Do I have to make a separate purchase in order to have user submission?

MemberHi,
Pro does not have user submission those features are included in Community Events and that is a separate purchase.
https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-community-events/
If you are looking for just those features we can exchange licenses for that plugin.
Let me know.
Thanks

ParticipantThank you for clarifying.
If I lose the pro licence will I lose the shortcode that allows me to place the calendar on pages other than the events page?November 18, 2015 at 11:21 am #1027645Brian
MemberHi,
The shortcodes in Pro are a Pro only feature. Same for the additional fields and recurring events.
If you can wait we will have coupons for Cyber Monday (November 30th) and you could get Community Events at a lower price then.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Brian,
I’m looking to purchase the Community Events today, using the “Not Quite Black Friday Sale”. However, I went to https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-community-events/ and I can’t figure out which License option I am suppose to purchase.
Basically, we are looking to host an Events Calendar on our resident.com website. The goal is to allow our clients to log in and submit the event information themselves, instead of us having to input each event directly. I just want to make sure that the new license we purchase will support our goals in having this Events Calendar.
If you could tell me the differences between the personal, business, and agency licenses, and direct me to the correct one for our resident.com website, I’d greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

ParticipantIf you need it for just the one site, personal should work for you. The only difference between the three is the number of websites on which you can install it.
The Community Events plugin should be just what you need to allow people to submit events without creating an account. If it’s not what you expected, or it doesn’t install in your website, you can get your money back. I think there’s a 15-day window.

ParticipantI just want to clarify because I’m not very tech-saavy – when you say one website, do you mean resident.com as a whole that counts for one website? For instance, we would like to feature it on our homepage, and eventually we will create a separate page for it such as resident.com/calendar-of-events. Since the calendar will technically be on two different web pages, does the personal license still apply?

MemberHi Michael,
Thanks for the interest in our plugins.
That is all considered one site. It is per install of WordPress not how many pages.
So the Personal License works for you.
Cheers
Thanks for the reply Brendan and we do have a 30 day refund policy.

ParticipantIs there a limit to how many users can make submissions through the Community Events plugin?
November 24, 2015 at 1:25 pm #1030374Brian
MemberHi,
There is no limit nor is there a feature to add a limit.
I would encourage you to check out our new user primer which gives a run down of all the features and how to set them up:
Thanks
