    Hello
Is it – easily – possible to reverse the order and have recurring events list lower than individual events.
    I.e. on http://visithadleighsuffolk.co.uk ?
    thanks
    Mark

    Good evening Mark,

Yes, you could totally do that.

But this will have to be accomplished via a function.
You could draw on the following for inspiration: https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/fc9b2df3c4d7cf062fde

You also might want to read about this: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-tribe_get_events/

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

Had a look at the inspiration and https://codex.wordpress.org/Functions_File_Explained
Any chance you could tell me the path to the file that I add –

    Been looking – still stumped
    Thanks

    Good afternoon Mark,

The idea would be to replace the tribe_event_is_all_day by something like tribe_is_recurring_event (or some way that targets recurring events specifically).

Once you tweak the code to your liking you apply the snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top) pretty much anywhere in the file, as long as it’s not in the middle of another piece of code (some people use the end of the file).

If coding is not really your cup of tea, you could always hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.

I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have unfortunately.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
