I have deleted ecents, and deleted them completely, but in the calendar on mobile phones, they are still showing up. Clicking find out more leads to a page saying nothing was found, but the clients don’t always do that. They trust that the events are showing correctly.
If I change to month view it is still there, but only on mobile phone.
I did do a complete update on WP to ensure, this wasn’t the problem, and this removed the first time i had the problem, but now WP is up to date, but newly deleted events still shows.

My guess is something to do with caching, but i really don’t know how to work around it? Any suggestions? Thought about auto refresh, but then they will be taken back to present month if looking in the calendar.

MemberKaren, this is odd.
I’m guessing something’s going on specific to your site. It very well could be caching-related.
Since you didn’t share your System Information, I can’t make any specific suggestions, but referencing https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/caching-basics/ may be helpful.
If you require further assistance, please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions:
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Sixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.

I resolved the issue, but probably more luck than doing something specific. I deleted all plugins and reinstalled the ones I needed, and now the problem is gone.
Maybe it is just the caching taking a bit longer to clear, maybe it was a conflict, but if others have the same issue I will recommend to re-install plugins, as deactivating was not enough in my case.

I’m guessing if you would have just deactivated a single plugin (or maybe the specific plugin causing this), the issue would have been resolved, since that usually causes caching to be re-built.
