Emilie
GuestHi,
I am actually testing the compatibility of the Events Calendar with Cupid theme by G5Theme.
The page mysite.com/events doesn’t display anything but I have access to the single events page.
What could be done ?
ThanksEmilie

MemberHey there, Emilie! Thanks for getting in touch. 🙂
Sorry for the trouble there in testing! Conflicts can pop up for a number of reasons, but a couple of things I would suggest trying:
- Activate a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Sixteen) and see if the calendar is accessible there.
- If it’s not, try also deactivating all other plugins to see if that makes a difference
- If there’s no difference, make sure there is no other page on your site that uses “events” in the URL
- As a last course, try following the steps in this post — it could be a possible 404 issue and the steps here resolve most (if not all) of those issues.
If it seems like a theme conflict, then it might be helpful to have the theme author check it out as well to see if there is anything that might be preventing it from recognizing the calendar’s custom post archive.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Geoff,
thanks for your help.
I have got the error with Cupid or Twenty Sixteen as soon as the Woocommerce (Version 2.5.5) plugin is activatedWhat can be done?

MemberThat’s really interesting! I have not seen any other reports of The Events Calendar and WooCommerce conflicting with one another. Are you running the latest version of The Events Calendar (4.1.2)?
Also, what is the error you are seeing? Do you have a screenshot I can see?
Thanks!

GuestHello Geoff,
I have find the origin of the probleme, it’s not Woocommerce but Visual Composer because I have not set a licence key as I tested the theme.
With Beaver Builder plugin though, the events page is not showing the search bar and the features image

MemberHi Emilie,
Yeah, I’m afraid there are some known conflicts with The Events Calendar and Beaver Builder. The two plugins are not fully compatible with one another, but we have been in touch with the Beaver Builder team and hopefully we’ll be able to work together and iron those issues out in future updates to both plugins.
Sorry for the bad news, but does this at least help answer your question?
Thanks,

GuestIs Visual Composer compatible with the Events Calendar?
April 21, 2016 at 7:41 am #1105356Geoff
MemberI have seen a few reports of conflicts with Visual Composer as well, but I have also heard from people in that who use them together with no issues at all. In other words, it likely will depend case-by-case.
I was able to find this thread. It’s a little older, but does go into thorough detail where someone reported a conflict with Visual Composer and the troubleshooting that went into it. You could try the suggestions in that thread as a starting point for digging into the compatibility a little more, but it looks like the result of this particular case was an issue with hosting.
Thanks,

MemberOh sweet, thanks for the heads up! I hadn’t tested The Events Calendar with Swift Builder so it’s nice to know that works.
Cheers and thanks again for reaching out — feel free to let us know if any other questions pop up. 🙂
