MemberGood evening Gurdeep and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.1. Can organiser register without going to wp admin
Absolutely.
Many of our customers integrate this with the Theme my login plugin to have full control on the user experience: https://wordpress.org/plugins/theme-my-login/2. is there a option to register as a event organiser or just buyer of a ticket. so i can make to link buttons.
Once again, your best bet here is to use Theme my login.
You might even want to combine that with something like: https://wordpress.org/plugins/nav-menu-roles/By default a WooCommerce customer gets a WordPress customer role assigned to him after their purchase (unless they already have a higher role).
You can even decide if you want customers to log in or not to be able to purchase tickets.
You might want to read the following to get a sense of your options:
- http://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-community-tickets/
3. Can event organiser submit edit their event without going to wp-admin
Yes, absolutely. This is the main goal of our Community Events plugin.
4. Can i add more variables from backend to forms
Absolutely. You can do this in a few ways:
- Using custom code to integrate with some custom fields plugin. You can read about that here: https://theeventscalendar.com/customizations/
If coding is not really your cup of tea, you could always hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.
- Getting a copy of our the Events Calendar Pro premium add-on. This lets you create additional fields (and much more) in every event: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/
5. Is the site translation ready, I will have it in Norwegian and English both.
I highly recommend reading the 3 following articles on translation:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/how-to-override-plugin-language-files/
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/incomplete-translations/
As you can see, all of our plugins are fully translatable.
However, the level at which they are already translated to Norwegian specifically varies from one plugin to the other. The good news is that you can easily “fill in the blanks” and translate any missing string.
Since you are interested in running a multilingual website, it means that you will need to pick a multi-language plugin such as WPML or Polylang.
Currently we do not offer official WPML support for the following plugins: Event Tickets, Event Tickets Plus, Community Events, Community Tickets, Filter Bar.
In other words, we fully support the Events Calendar and the Events Calendar Pro at the time of writing.
We are working at making all of our plugin suite compatible over time.
However, some of our customers have found workarounds for these issues if you are interested.Polylang users have been luckier. Although we do not support Polylang yet, our tests indicate that aside from a few things, the integration with our plugins suite is pretty good already.
Definitely worth a look.
6. Can people can create account to buy tickets without going to backend.
Yes absolutely.
7. Are there Shortcodes which i can use on different page.
It depends what kind of shortcodes you are looking for.
Community Events has its own shortcodes: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/accessing-linking-community-events-pages/
The Events Calendar Pro offers another set of shortcodes:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/
8. Can event organiser add venue or and topics
Yes they can (unless you don’t want them to).
9. Can organiser see their events sales report and attendees in the Frontend and print it.
Yes they can (unless you don’t want them to).
10. Does the organiser have to list the event in one go, without my permission.
That is up to you. You set the default status of a submitted event.
This gives you full control.11. Can the organiser have a profile page.
Absolutely. Theme my login helps with that.
You can also use shortcodes (as we saw earlier).12. Can i list all the organiser on a searchable page, like a directory.
Yes you can via a snippet.
13. Can i create a invoice or report for the event organiser.
I am not sure what you have in mind precisely, but you have access to each organiser’s report.
To keep things simple you can even use a Switch user plugin.14. can i have custom labels, other then woo-commerce labels.
Yes, each view or string is customizable (both in WooCommerce and our plugins).
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

GuestThanks for your great answer !!!
Norwegian part, i can do the translation myself, only i wanted to ask was if their was language files there, so i can use poedit.
About no 13 i meant if organiser can get the report about how much people attended and how much they earned.

MemberGood afternoon Gurdeep,
Thank you for writing back.
About number 13, yes, the number of attendees (tickets sold and amount) is made “public” for them. Provided they are aware of the arrangement you made with them (what percentage they are getting), they should be able to figure out how much they have made for any specific event.
One more thing can i buy the software and test what it can do and ask for refund, if it does cover over needs.
You are fully entitled to a refund if you want one as long as you are within 30 days of your purchase. To obtain the refund, you just need to follow the procedure described here.
Can you help with custom features if needed.
Just to set expectations, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues.
We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.
With that in mind we have a fairly large base of snippets, extensions and documentation on accomplishing a lot of things.
You can read about that here: https://theeventscalendar.com/customizations/
If coding is not really your cup of tea, you could always hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.
Best regards,
Geoff B.
