GuestHi there,
We are using the free version of The Events Calendar on a clients website and they would like the ability to have users submit an event without having to create logins/sign in.
The Community Events add-on seems perfect! If it will enable a form on the front end of the website where an admin could make slight edits or straight approve and the event would appear on the website instantly without having to copy/paste content manually from a general contact form submission, this is exactly what we need.
However, please verify if simply purchasing a Community Events Personal license at $89 is enough to have this up and running or if we would also need to purchase a license for the PRO version of The Events Calendar as well.
In addition, does the $89 license fee have to be paid annually for the plugin to work or can it be a one-time payment where we only need to pay again for support? Either way is not a problem, I simply want to provide realistic costs to the client.
Thank you for your time, I look forward hearing from you.

KeymasterHi Tim,
Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!
You do not need to purchase Events Calendar PRO, as long as you have The Events Calendar installed and activated on your site, in order for Community Events to work.
The $89 license fee is an annual fee. If you decide not to renew your license, your plugin will still work, but you lose access to support and plugin updates, which often contain bug fixes. You can read more about that here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/expired-licenses/
Please let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime
