Hi,

I wanted to know if the Community Events allow the user only to display his events alone after posting it to the Events Calendar. For instance, Jack posted 12 event to the Events Calendar, Jenny posted 5 and Chris posted 8, besides using the Events Calendar Filter Bar Jenny wants to display only her events under her group/forum without manually entering it again. Can Jenny see only her 5 post under her group/forum?

In addition, I seeking to purchase the Events Calendar as well for a K-12 school platform, so besides events there will be information on Opening and Closing dates, Term Test beginning and ending dates etc… How does Events Calendar manage event dates that does not require any details? Also, is there any discounts for schools?

Hi Tasha and thanks for getting in touch!

Yes, Community Events will allow folks to display only their events. The trick is to make sure you have Events Calendar PRO as well and that the person lists themselves as the Organizer of the event. Events Calendar PRO includes pages for Organizers and that will display the upcoming events specifically attached to that person.

How does Events Calendar manage event dates that does not require any details? Also, is there any discounts for schools?

The Events Calendar only requires a title and start/end times for the event in order for it to be published. So, if you publish an all-day event that merely states that school is closed that day, then the calendar will display that event title.

We do actually have a nonprofit program and I’d encourage you to apply for it. 🙂
