Community Event Submission Form Questions

Hello,

We have purchased Event Calendar Pro and Events Tickets Plus and had the community events bundle but struggled to get it to work how we wanted to so you refunded us. We would like to get it to work however so are looking into purchasing that bundle again from you. On this video (https://theeventscalendar.com/product/community-tickets/) the event submission form and community organiser dashboard looks exactly as we had envisaged but the actual form looked significantly different when we installed it. The vebiage was different as were some of the fields. Can you please advise on this?

Thanks for reaching out and for reconsidering Community Tickets for your project 🙂

I’ve reviewed your last exchange with Andras about customizing the form, and some basic coding skills are in fact needed to change the form.

On this video (https://theeventscalendar.com/product/community-tickets/) the event submission form and community organiser dashboard looks exactly as we had envisaged but the actual form looked significantly different when we installed it. The vebiage was different as were some of the fields.

The version on the video is not the latest so you might find small changes while using the latest version but not a huge difference I believe. Also please note that on the video the default WordPress theme TweentySixteen is used, using a different theme might changes things around specially the look and feel.

If you want to give this another try please purchase the plugin and ask me the questions needed to get it working as you need it to. Some of them might involve custom code or changes e cannot support directly (just point you to the right resources like the themer’s guide). If you feel it’s too complex once again then you can ask a refund once again 😉

Other idea is to find a customizer that can make the necessary adjustments for you.
