Changing schedul details

I would like any information you may be able to provide on how to change the date structure of single-events in list mode. Right now it displays as January 1 – january 4. I would like it to just display January 1-4. If this is even possible I would appreciate any help. If this is an option that is only available in pro, please let me know that as well.
